Mittwoch Matinee: 10 Years

In less than two weeks, The Brancatelli Blog will celebrate its tenth anniversary. It began on July 8, 2014 with “But Can You Type?” and has published posts every Sunday morning since then. The average length of posts over that time has been 750 words, which comes to roughly 400,000 words if you count short, mid-week posts like this one. You can find other shorts under Mittwoch Matinee, Reader Responses, and the Blog Pod. See the drop-down menu, “All Posts,” to the right of this column to select a category from previous years.

If you’ve been following this blog for a while, especially from the beginning, many thanks for your patronage, loyalty, and good humor all this time. You deserve a very cold, Limestone yellow gin martini with South American vermouth, 8 to 1, with a sprig of parsley. Barring that, put your feet up, pour yourself a beer, and watch a ballgame. I include the video below just because I like it. I don’t want you going anywhere.

See you soon.
